It seems hard to believe that the Christmas season is already upon us. For me personally the year has flown by. For many it has been a difficult year and we all look forward to a little peace and joy during the Christmas season as a relief from our daily struggles.
However there are many like Genevieve, whose 3 children are featured this month, who can not rest because of the desperate situation in which they find themselves. People like Genevieve caring for 3 blind kids in a country where the people with no disability struggle to survive. This Christmas we have the opportunity to bring a little peace and joy to someone in desperate need. What’s more; a generous friend of Mercy Ships has offered to double all the donations we receive in December up to the value of 330,000€.
What a bonus in a time of crisis! For the same money we can help twice as many people this Christmas so please give generously so that together we can bring a little Christmas cheer to someone who needs it even more than we do.
